Unit 5 What does she do?

Lesson 2  A  let's talk

一、教学目标:
1.能够听懂,会说本课对话,并能做替换练习。
2
.能够听、说、读、写句型:What does your mother do? She is a TV reporter.并能在情景中运用。
二、教学重难点:
1
.本课时的重点是掌握句型:What does …do? She/He is a/an ….

2.本课时的难点是重点句型中问句的表达。
教学步骤
三、课前准备

教师准备本单元A部分及四年级上册第六单元 B Let’s learn中单词卡片、图片(如singer,actor,actress,artist,writer,TV reporterdriver,farmer,doctornurse,baseball player等)、一套自制的职业图片(如:painter漆匠, carpenter木匠,bricklayer泥瓦匠,mason石匠,tailor裁缝,housewife家庭主妇、barber理发师、assistant店员等) 和一张全家福照片。

四、教学步骤

Step1Warm-up

 1Greeting(师生互相问候)

T: It's time for class, Stand up, please!(学生起立)Good morning/afternoon!Boys and      girls. How are you? 

Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you/And you? 

T: I'm fine, too.Thanks. Sit down, please.(学生坐下)
T: What's your name?
(教师下位)

S: My name is …… 

T: Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you,too.

T:…

教学思路:异地而教,新老师,新学生,询问姓名,熟悉学生,相互问候,拉近师生距离。

2、分组定竞赛规则。
T: 大家学习英语的积极性都非常高,英语也学得非常好,今天大家来比一比。我把大家按座位分成四个组,老师根据大家上课的表现,奖励各组小红旗,下课时,哪一组得到的小红旗多,哪一组就是优胜组。Let’s see which group is the winner. OK?  Ss: OK!

教学思路:课前分小组,定竞赛规则,激发学生学习兴趣,加强组织教学、培养学生集体荣誉感和团体协作精神。

3.Revision and lead-in(复习导入话题)

Activity1:教师介绍全家福及相关成员职业

T:Boys and girls, look (教师出示全家福照片), this is my family. Come and meet my family. Please listen carefully.Later you should answer the questions on the Bb. Ok? (介绍前提出要求,加强组织教学)Look, this is my father. What is my father? He is a worker.(出示父亲的职业图片,并板书worker, 下同) This is my mother. What is my mother? She is a farmer. This is my brother. What’s my brother? He is a doctor. And this is my son. He is a  student. And this's me. I'm  Miss zhou. What am I? I'm a teacher.  I teach English(同时举起一本英语书)。

教学思路:上节课所学的职业单词跟农村学生生活实际差距很大,如果照搬,学生必定没有真实语言,甚至没有话说,所以通过新教师出示真实图片,介绍自己家人,创设真实情景,复习四上第六单元的家庭成员及职业单词和相关句型(What is my father/?He/She is.),并以旧带新,扩充词汇,引出学生可能要说,而上节课没有出现的职业单词(如:worker , teacher等)和相关句型,为后面学生介绍父母职业做铺垫。

Activity2:小组抢答

T: Now I ask ,you answer.Lets have a group contest..

  What is my father? What does my father do ?  (教师辅导学生用英语正确说出该职业)

S:……

T: What is my mother? What  does my mother do? 

S:….

T: What’s my brother? What  does my brother do?  

S:….

T: What am I? What do I do

S:….

教学思路:教师就所介绍的内容提问,检测学生听课情况和对旧知的掌握程度,以小组抢答的形式激发学生学习兴趣,进一步加强组织教学,用旧句型What is ?提问,在具体真实的语境中反复渗透和诠释新句型What does/do  do ?

Activity3: 教师介绍朋友父母,尖子生看图片说职业

T:I have many friends.What are their parents? What do their parents do? 我有很多的朋友,他们的爸爸,妈妈干什么的呢?让我们一起来看看吧。

T:Look (师出示卡片singer),this is Chen Jie's mother.  She is a…? (拖长声音,暗示学生读出singer)。

T: Yes, Chen Jie's mother is a singer.(师出示卡片TV reporter) This is John's father. What is John's father? What does John's father do? (暗示并辅导学生正确说出完整句子)

S: He is a TV reporter.

T:Yes, John's father is a TV reporter.What does Sarah's father do?(在确保有学生在具体的语境下能听懂该句型的意思后,开始大胆使用该新句型,而不再使用旧句型What is …?

T: Yes, he is a teacher. He teaches English.(板书句子)

同法,师分别出示卡片:writer,actor,actress, artist,.让学生说出这些朋友父母的职业)

教学思路: 为了复习农村生活中所没有而上节课已学的职业单词和句型He teaches English同时为了避免问句的机械单调引起的枯燥无味,教师通过进一步延续话题---介绍朋友父母职业,假借某某朋友父母之名,呈现一些职业图片,创设真实语境,让尖子学生根据图片说职业;本活动中,由前面活动中老师亲自介绍家人职业变为学生根据图片说朋友父母职业,体现了教师由抱着学生过河过渡到牵着着学生过河的教学思路。

Activity4:教师小结示范

教师分别出示卡片自言自语) Look, this is Chen Jie's mother. What does Chen  Jie's mother do? She is a singer.This is Zhang Peng's mother. What does Zhang Peng's mother do? She is a writer. This is Liu Yun's mother.What does Liu Yun's mother do?  She is an actress.

教学思路:教师小结示范,承上启下,反复使用新句型What does … do?,让学生进一步在连番轰炸中感知该句型的意思,从而加深学生的印象。

Activity5:小组抢答(师生互动)

T: Now let’s have a group contest. Are you ready? What does Amy's father do?

S: He is an actor.(板书 father He and an actor) 

T: What does Mike's father do?

S: He is an artist.

T: What does John's father do?

S: He is a TV repoter.(板书a TV repoter)

T: What does Sarah's father do?

S: He is a teacher.(板书a teacher)

T:    Yes. He teaches English. (教师出示一本英语书)

教学思路:教师进一步沿用讨论朋友父母职业这个话题,就这些朋友父母的职业图片提问,通过小组抢答的形式维持学生的兴趣,加强组织教学,同时引导更多的学生大胆地在具体语境中熟练介绍某人的职业。)

 

Step2Presentation
Activity 1: lead-in(
师生互动,尖子生介绍自己父母职业,导入本课新句型)

T: What does your mother do? 教师指名一些尖子生根据实际情况回答,并在四线格中适时板书这些句子)

S: She is a……

T: What does your father do?

S: He is a……

教学思路:教师紧扣本课话题(介绍职业)---先由教师介绍自己家人和职业,再由教师介绍朋友父母,让学生根据图片说职业过渡到让尖子学生引路,据实介绍自己父母职业,引出农村生活中可能还有的一些职业单词,如:painter漆匠, carpenter木匠,bricklayer泥瓦匠,mason石匠,tailor裁缝,housewife家庭主妇等,教师适时板书新词,扩充词汇,为后面学生采访做铺垫。)

 

Activity 2:Let’s learn and practise

1. 教师(用磁带或光碟)教读句型: What does your mother/father do? She/He is ….

2. 师生互动

①师问生答(教师提问,先让学生根据教师的卡片齐答,后指名学生回答,引导学生在具体语境中操练答语。)

生问师答(引导学生在具体语境中操练问句)

T: Who ask me?指名问,教师答)

3. 生生互动(教师指名一问一答示范,然后同桌互动、分组互动。教师每大组指名一对同桌表演。)(教师奖励给表现好的一组一面小红旗。)

Activity3: Let's try

T:今天,我们讨论了我的家人职业,我的一些朋友父母的职业,也讨论了一些同学父母的职业,现在我们继续学习Unit 5  What does she do?  A  Let's talk(教师板书课题),了解一下John的父母是干什么的。

T: Now, open your books and turn to page 59. 听对话之前,我们先热热身。大家看看Let's try中的图片。在第一/二组图片中,.Guess,what does the woman /man do in picture A/B?  Well, let’s listen and check our answers.(教师放Let's  try 部分录音一遍,学生选答案,指名回答问题,师生共评,再放一遍,师生共同核对答案)

教学思路:教师小结话题,承上启下,听前引导学生运用所学句型讨论图片显示的职业,为听力热身做好铺垫,培养学生良好的听力训练的方法和习惯,同时充分利用教材资源引导学生运用新知。

Activity 4: Let’s listen(呈现新课)

T: Close your books .(教师边说边示范合上课本)Let's listen. Chen Jie and John are talking. Let's listen and answer the question, what do John's mother and father do?

T:What does John's mother do? 

S:She is a TV reporter. (师生共评,下同)

T: What does John's father do?

S: He is a teacher.

T: Now,let’s listen again, check the anwer and then anwer another question,what does John’s father teach?

T: What does he teach?

S: He teaches English. (教师奖励给表现好的一组一面小红旗。)

教学思路:通过听前提问引导学生积极有效地获取文本信息,听后提问,检测学生对本信息掌握程度,培养学生听说能力;两次听前提出不同要求(关上书本,听大意和核对答案,听细节问题),培养学生良好的学习习惯和方法。

Activity 4: Let’s repeat(学习新课)

(教师播放 A  let's talk录音,学生跟读两遍后齐读)

教学思路:在获取文本大意之后,通过反复跟读文本,让学生学会纯正的语音语调。

Activity5: Let’s act(操练新课)

 ( 先师生示范表演,后分组表演,再指名上台表演。教师奖励给表现好的一组一面小红旗。)

Practise(拓展运用,操练新知)
Activity 1: Interview

1. Pair work(师生互动)

T:Boys and girls.我们的爸爸、妈妈还有其他的亲人在不同的岗位工作,老师现在采访几位同学。希望大家能根据实际情况回答。
T:What does your mother/father do? S:……

教学思路:师生互动,教师采访示范
2. Group work
(生生互动)

(老师在每组选一名小记者采访本组两名同学,了解他们父母亲的职业。然后选一名小记者上台汇报或小组互访,各组被采访的同学采访其他小组的小记者。)

教学思路:小组采访,保证全员参与。小组互访避免教学目标聚焦不全(如被采访同学问句操练不足),确保新知的全面落实。

 Activity2: Copy(抄写)
学生抄写黑板上四线格中的句子,教师展示写得好的作业。

Wrap up

、教师启发学生总结本节课所学内容。
