A. Let’s spell

、教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标:

1)能够掌握字母组合ai/ay在单词中发长音/ei/的规则。

2)继续掌握用There is…句型来描述图片。

2. 语言技能目标:

1)能够读出符合ai/ay发音规则的单词,并能根据读音拼写出符合ai/ay发音规则的单词,初步掌握单词的拼读、听、写技能。

2)能够用There is…句型来描述图片中所看到的物品的方位。

3.情感、策略、文化目标:

1)初步产生对用自然拼读法学习音标的兴趣,增强团队合作精神和集体荣誉感。

2)通过听音、拆音、拼音和分类等活动,观察、探究、感知、体验并归纳ai/ay的发音规则。

3)在语音探究中,能用目标句型There is…与老师同学自如进行交流。

二、教学重难点 :

1. 能够读出符合ai/ay发音规则的单词,并能根据读音拼写出符合ai/ay发音规则的单词。

2.      在语音探究中,能用目标句型There is…与老师同学自如进行交流。

三、教学过程 

(一)复习检查,导入话题

Step 1. Warm-up. / Revision.

  1. Free talk.

T: Good morning, everyone.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Deng.

T: What day is it today? Monday, Tuesday or Friday?

Ss: It’s Monday.

T: Today is Monday. What’s the weather like today?Rainy, sunny or cloudy?

S: It’s rainy.

【设计意图】师生间自由对话,对话内容中渗透许多的带字母组合aiay发长音/ei/的单词,为后面的语音学习做好铺垫。

  1. Sing a song“ A photo of me”.

T: Now let’s enjoy a song.

【设计意图】通过歌曲调动学生的学习兴趣,使其尽快进入英语学习的氛围,并借助视频复习相关句型及单词,为进入下一环节做好铺垫。

   3.  Check and lead - in.

T: (指向大屏幕。)Look! There is a photo on the board. Whose room?

S: It’s Zhang Peng’s room.

T: What’s in Zhang Peng’s room?

S: There is a …, a ....

T: Yes. It’s really nice!(播放下一张PPT图片)Look! There are many nice pictures. Let’s see.

师生谈论第一组图片。

T: How many pictures are there?

S: (引导学生说)There are 4 pictures.

T: What’s in this picture?(师手指日历图片引导) There is a calendar in the picture. What day is it

S: It’s Monday.

T: What’s in this picture? What’s the weather?

S: It’s rainy.

T: Yes, there is a rain day. What’s else in the picture?

S: There is a man.

T: Yes. He is Zhang Peng’s dad. What’s Dad doing

S: He’s waiting for the bus.

T: Yes! But there’s no bus coming. He looks anxious. There’s a long way to go home.

师生谈论第二组图片。

T: How many pictures are there?

S: (引导学生说)There are 3 pictures.

T: What’s in this picture?

S: There’s a birthday cake.

T: Yes. It’s for Zhang Peng. Today is Zhang Peng’s birthday.

(指向下一张图片)Look! What’s in it? There is a rainbow! What are they doing?

S: They’re painting a rainbow.

T: Zhang Peng is saying a chant. What’s in the chant? Let’s listen!

【设计意图】通过引导学生描述图片由话题What’s in Zhang Peng’s room? 延伸到话题What’s in the picture? 复习重点句型There is…及相关单词。并通过讨论图片导入新课,为学生理解后面新课中的chant做好铺垫

() 语音探究与操练,活用话题

Step 2. Presentation.

1. 初听chant,整体感知,找出出现最多的音/ei/

T: Let’s listen and find the sound you hear most. (教师播放chant。)

What’s the sound you hear most?

T: Yes. There are many “/ei/”s . (在黑板上的中心位置板书/ei/。)

教读/ei/,请学生注意观看口型模仿。

2. 再听chant,边听边找出含有/ei/的单词。

T: Please take out your paper. Listen and find the words with“/ei/” and circle them.

板书单词,并用红色标出ai/ay

T: How many words with“/ei/”? One, two,….? There are …

S: There are 8.

  1. 看一看,读一读,探究发音规律

请学生以小组为单位观察词形,引导学生总结规律。

T: What’s the same letters in the words?

S: There is ai / ay. (用红色粉笔在黑板上重点标出ai/ay。)

T: Look at these 2 lines. What can you find?

T: “ai” are in the middle of the words. “ay” are at the end of the words.

【设计意图】由讨论图片过渡到讨论chant, 话题线索由What’s the sound you hear most in the chant? 自然延伸到Which words have /ei/ in the chant? 再到 Which letters sounds /ei/ in these words? 学生通过听一听、找一找、看一看、读一读的方式,在教师的引导下归纳出字母组合ay, ai和长音/ei/之间的音形对应关系。

5. 跟读正音。

6. Let’s read.

对子练读。

T: Now let’s read the words in pairs.(引导学生大声读出单词。)

开火车检测。

T: There is a train, go, go, go! Go to the Group 1, read one by one!

【设计意图】通过游戏活动进一步激发学生兴趣,引导学生能够读出符合ai/ay发音规则的单词;通过跟读帮助学生正音。

7. Let’s chant.

Today’s Monday. It’s a rainy day.

There’s a long way. I want to say.

Oh! There’s no bus! Wait, wait, wait!

 

Today’s Monday. It’s a rainy day.

It’s my birthday. I want to say.

Look! There’s a rainbow! Paint, paint, paint!

【设计意图】通过吟唱chant熟悉发音规则。

Step 3. Practice.

1.      活动一:Let’s try

T: There are so many words. Let’s try to read.

利用课件演示单词,学生练习自然拼读。

2.      活动二:Let’s read.

教师出示PPT中自制的电子翻页式拼读器请学生看卡片读单词,采用竞读的方式练习自然拼读符合ai/ay发音规则的单词。

T: There are lots of words in it. Please read them as quickly as you can. If you can read, put your hands up.

【设计意图】用课件演示磁性音块和翻页式拼读器来帮助学生练习自然拼

读,进一步巩固ai/ay的发音规则,达到见词能读的目的。

3.      活动三:Listen, read and circle.

T: Now please look at the second part on your book. Listen, read and circle.

接下来教师提醒学生有5秒钟的准备时间,并请学生迅速预读单词,对可能涉及的单词做出粗略的猜测和推断。

T: You have 5 minutes. Please read the other words quickly.

播放录音,学生听音完成圈单词练习。对子相互检查,全班订正答案。

T: Now please change your book and check your answers with your partners.

Let’s check the answers.

【设计意图】在学生进行听力练习之前,预留时间请学生迅速预读单词,对可能涉及的单词做出粗略的猜测和推断,通过这个活动对学生进行有效的听力指导,并帮助学生巩固发音规则,达到听音能认的目的。

3. 活动四:Finish the word.

利用课件呈现如下单词,请学生听音填空:

1. r_ _ny                 2. tod_ _

3. s_ _                   4. p_ _nt

5. w_ _t                  6. m_ _ 

7. g_ _n                  8.Mond_ _      

T: Look at these words. Now let’s listen and fill in the blanks.

填完后引导总结在ai/ay单词中出现的规律。

T: “ai” is in the middle of the word. “ay” is at the last of the word.

【设计意图】请学生听音并填写出单词中缺少的部分是ai还是ay,进一步巩固发音规则,为下一个练习中学生听音写单词做好铺垫,有效地发展了学生的书写能力。

Step 4. Consolidation.

1. Look, listen and write.

请学生观察图片,师生讨论图片,根据图片提示预测单词。

T: Look at activity 3. How many pictures are there in it?

S: There are 3 pictures.

T: What’s in picrure 1?

S: There is a little boy.

T: The little boy wants to play. But ...

S: Today is a rainy day.

T: What’s in picture 2?

S: There is a rainbow.

T: And there are 2 students. They are painting a rainbow.

.  There is a calendar in picture 3. What day is it today?

S: Today is Monday.

播放录音,学生填写所缺单词。

T: Listen and write down the words.

师生核对答案。

再次播放录音,请学生跟读这三句话。

指导学生从三个句子中选择一个,抄写在单线上。

【设计意图】通过看图预测、听录音、写单词活动帮助学生按照发音规则拼

写单词,通过这个听写活动继续巩固发音规则,发展学生的听、写能力,达到听音能写的目的。

2. Let’s try

让学生朗读下列语句,注意长音/ei/的发音。

No pain, no gain.(没有痛苦,没有收获。)

Rainbow always shows after rain.(阳光总在风雨后。)

【设计意图】通过两句含有符合ai/ay发音规则的单词的谚语,帮助学生达到积累知识并运用知识的目的,从而体验成功,享受学习的乐趣。

Step 5. Summary.

1. 师生一起总结本课的收获。

T: What have we learned today?

2. 总结评比优胜组。

【设计意图】课末教师及时引导学生总结所学内容,让学生对所学知识进行梳理,这样帮助学生在头脑中对所学知识建构一个清楚的轮廓体系,培养学生养成对所知识及时进行归纳总结的好习惯。总结评比让学生再次体验成功的乐趣,培养学生的团队意识,增强了他们的集体荣誉感。

Step 6. Homework(任选一个)(开放作业,拓展运用。)

1.      Chant.

2.      找一找符合ai/ay发音规则的单词,并大声读一读。

3.      抄写句子(谚语二选一)。

【设计意图】开放、多样性、梯度性的作业,紧扣新知内容,将英语学习延

续到课外,使新知学习得到巩固,体现学以致用的原则。
