一、教学目标

1.知识目标:能够听说读写单词:clock ,photo ,bike ,plant ,water bottle.

2.能力目标:能在语境中正确运用以上单词和句型:There is a /an..描述房间物品。

3.情感目标:培养学生学习英语的兴趣和学以致用的习惯和方法。

二、教学重难点

1.教学重点:能在语境中正确运用以上单词和句型:There is a /an..描述房间物品。

2.教学难点:如何创设活动情境引导学生在活动中综合运用所学单词和there is…句型。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Greetings and group-dividing

T: Hello ,boys and girls How are you ?Today there are four groups .And there is a room for every group.Room 1/2/3/4 is for your group..(教师以手示意分组分房)Look ,there are some beautiful cards in my hand .There is a TV ,a phone ,a sofa ,a bed ,a computer and so on. If you do well ,you can choose one thing and put it up in your room .At the end of the class, lets see which group gets the most prizes and what is in your room, OK?

【设计意图】课前问候,拉进师生距离。分组竞争机制,激发学生学习和参与热情,利用所学话题句型There be…(下同)介绍小组以及作为奖励用的家居物品小图片,既可以复习旧知,又可以为新课学习和后面话题的导入:描述房间内有什么物品做好铺垫。

Step 2 Revision and Check(检查作业,复习旧知)

出示课件图片(图片内容按对话内容进行马赛克处理,遮住对话中没有出现的物品),讨论张鹏房间有什么,回顾上节课的话题内容。(Topicwhats in Zhang pengs room?)

T: Last class ,we talked about Zhang Peng s room ,right ? Whats in Zhang Pengs room ? Can you tell me ?

S1:There is a chair .

S2:There is a photo .

S3:There is a computer .

S4:There is a....

Step 3 Presentation and practice

1.导入本课话题(Topic: what else is in Zhang pengs room?)

承上启下,提出问题(张鹏房间还有什么?),导入本课话题 。

T: Zhang Peng’s room is really nice.There is a photo, a computer ,a desk , a chair and a bed.What else is in his room ?

2.听歌曲,A photo of me,尝试回答问题

T:There is a song for you .Lets listen and find out. This time can you tell me,what else can you see ? (学生尝试性回答)

【设计意图】:教师引导学生带着问题观看歌曲视频,在歌曲中整体感知本节课新授内容,检查学生预习情况,导入新知学习。

3.观察讨论图片中物品及其摆放位置,展开话题。

有序逐个呈现图片,按音义形认知过程导入单词教学和操练。利用升降调带读单词和目标句型,多种形式操练。

T: Whats  this? (教师指向时钟)

S1 :Its a clock/闹钟.(允许不会的学生用汉语说)

T: Yes,its a clock. (教师根据学生答案适时口头导入单词发音,然后用PPT出示单词clock词形,再引导学生看PPT中单词拼读)Can you spell clock?

S s:C-L-O-C-K,clock.

T: clock,clockthere is a clock. (教师升降调带读)

⑴对话交流

T: Whats in the room?

S:There is a clock.

T: Where is the clock?

S:Its on the wall.?

T:Yes, there is a clock on the wall.(教师在带读本句型后,适时采取多种形式如:全班读-小组读-男女生读-开火车读,教读下面小歌谣)

⑵小歌谣诵读

T: Whats in the room ?

There is a clock .

There is a clock on the wall.

同样方法学习photo,plant ,bike,water bottle.

【设计意图】:整体播放完歌曲视频后,教师逐个出示相关物品图片,引导学生有序地观察讨论,从而按音义形的认知过程导入各个单词教学。在每个单词教学中,教师利用升降调带读单词,并通过所学话题句型There be.词不离句地将后面的歌谣分散融入到相应的单词教学中,同时进行多种形式的操练,为后面的歌谣诵读减压;师生间双边语言交流使单词教学的语境显得更加丰实,从而使学生在交流运用中熟练掌握单词的音义形。

⑶大歌谣诵读。

T:Now,there is a chant. Let’s listen and follow.

Whats in the room ?

There is a clock .

There is a clock on the wall.

Whats in the room ?

There is a photo .

There is a photo on the wall.

Whats in the room ?

There is a plant .

There is a plant near the window.

Whats in the room ?

There is a bike .

There is a bike behind the door.

Whats in the room ?

Water bottle  ,there is a water bottle.

There is a water bottle on the desk.

【设计意图】:通过有节奏的歌谣整体梳理新单词和句型,加强巩固,为后面的活动做铺垫。

(4)游戏活动

TYou have done a good job just now !There are some wonderful games for you, would you like to have a try ?

S s: Sure!

活动一:读一读,贴一贴,说一说

游戏规则:教师做单词口型,不发音其他学生根据教师口型大声读出该单词,被派上来的两名学生,一个找到相应的单词卡大声带读单词,另一名学生找到相应图片大声带读句子:__,__,there is a ___.

【设计意图】:本活动通过让看口型读单词,检查学生对新单词的认读情况。让学生根据听到的单词找到单词卡片和图片,检查学生对单词形状和意义的掌握情况。通过小老师带读,带领全体学生操练关键句型there is a ……,为后面的活动作铺垫。

活动二:句子接龙:摸一摸,说一说

T:Look ,Zhang Peng ,John and Amy are playing games .Do you want to join them ? Please pick out the things from the room and try to say like them.

游戏规则:学生们开火车摸出房间模型里的物品,并说句子there is a ...

【设计意图】:本游戏中通过引导学生模仿范例用There is a ……句型描述房间内一种和多种物品来进一步检查学生对新单词及句型的掌握情况,并为后面的拓展活动作铺垫。

4.再一次播放歌曲视频,引导有序讨论和总结话题:张鹏房间还有什么。

T:Now this time ,can you tell me ,what else is in Zhangpengs room ?

T&S s:There is a clock ,a photo,a plant,a bike and a water bottle .(教师用手势语言和声音引导学生注意该句子的语音语调)

【设计意图】新知学完后,教师适时引导学生总结回答前面所提话题问题:张鹏的房间还有什么,同时引导学生在描述多种物品时注意使用正确的语音语调,为后面学生自己能用升降调进行话题描述做好铺垫。

5:看一看,听一听,演一演

T: Listen ,Zhang Peng comes to our class,he wants to introduce his room to us ,look at the picture and listen carefully .

T:(教师先带上张鹏头饰,向大家介绍自己的房间)This time, can you be ZhangPeng ? Come here and have a try .

【设计意图】:该环节通过引导学生先看图片后边看文本边听张鹏介绍自己的房间来进一步回顾总结了本话题内容:张鹏房间里有什么。接着教师扮演张鹏使用关键词汇及句型按一定的方位顺序手指图片介绍房间物品进行示范,然后请学生上台表演,引导学生在自我介绍的语篇情境中熟练掌握目标词汇和句型,从而通过体验获取学英语的兴趣,培养学生学以致用的习惯和方法。

Step 4 Extension

1.承上启下,提出问题(你们小组房间有什么?),延伸话题 (Topic :whats in your room ?)

T:There is a clock ,a photo,a plant,a bike and a water bottle in Zhang pengs room. Your have got so many things for your rooms. What is in your roomAnd what about the other rooms ? (教师以手示意所指房间)

2.对子活动

T: Work in pairs ,ask and answer like this :

A:Whats in your room/Room 1/2/3/4 ?

B:There is a ...,a...,a....,and a....

3. 角色表演

T:Now which pair want to act it out ?

【设计意图】:话题由虚拟课堂过渡到真实课堂,从谈论张鹏的房间转入谈论自己或其他小组的房间,学以致用,内化本节课所学知识。对子问答增强生生互动,有效关注学生全体,请学生展示对话,检查学习效果。

Step 5 Summary and homework

1.总结

T:This period we talk about what else in Zhangpengs room,and we talk ahout our own room too. lets see which group is the winner.

2.   课外作业

T:There are some homework for today.

⑴先观察Lets spell部分的所有图片,用There be句型描述图片中有什么,再试读例词,观察词形,想想看例词中有哪些相同的发音和字母组合,尝试总结相应的发音规律。搜集一些其他具有相同构成和发音特点的单词。

⑵将本节课所学单词各抄写一行。

【设计意图】:总结本节课所学内容,进行知识梳理和话题总结,总结小组得分情况,激发学生学习兴趣。通过具体布置预习任务(引导学生先观察、试读、分析探究、总结规律,然后利用There be句型描述下节课语音课相关图片中有什么以及例词中有哪些相关相同发音和字母组合)为下节语音课作好铺垫,同时进一步拓展延伸话题。单词抄写作业锻炼学生的书写能力,实现听说读写整体教学。
